Inside the ICU: tracking the hidden suffering of critically ill patients
NCT ID NCT07153380
Summary
This study aimed to better understand how anxiety, sadness, breathing difficulty, and pain change over time in patients staying in intensive care. Researchers analyzed data from 62 ICU patients to see how these symptoms are connected and whether they affect patients' thinking abilities after leaving the ICU. The goal was to gather knowledge that could help improve future care for critically ill people.
