NCT ID NCT07420946
Summary
This study aims to create the first international expert guidelines for using cough-assist machines on critically ill patients in intensive care. A panel of 20-30 global specialists will use a structured survey method to agree on the safest and most effective ways to use this therapy. The goal is to standardize care and improve safety for very sick patients who struggle to clear mucus from their lungs.
