Can a smart Bed's gentle turn help ICU patients breathe?

NCT ID NCT07087600

Summary

This small study looked at whether a special bed that automatically tilts patients side-to-side is safe and helps with breathing in the ICU. Researchers tested the bed on 10 critically ill adults who were on breathing machines, checking their heart, lungs, and vital signs. The goal was to gather basic safety information to see if this therapy could be useful, as there is currently limited evidence about its immediate effects.
