Can a simple tilt help ICU patients breathe better?
NCT ID NCT07323472
Summary
This study aims to understand how tilting the bodies of critically ill adults who are on breathing machines affects their natural breathing effort and lung function. Researchers will carefully measure breathing signals and take images of the lungs while patients are tilted at different angles. The goal is to gather knowledge to potentially improve future care, but this study itself does not test a treatment.
