First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special disaster nursing training program (ICN) helps nurses feel more prepared for disasters and builds their mental toughness. About 80 nurses took part, with one group getting the ICN training and the other their usual disaster training. Both groups filled out surveys before and after training to measure changes in disaster skills and psychological resilience.
