Glowing dye lights up Kids' tumors for surgeons

NCT ID NCT04084067

Summary

This study is testing if a special dye called Indocyanine Green (ICG) can help surgeons better see and remove solid tumors in children and adolescents. During surgery, the dye is meant to make tumors glow under a special camera, potentially helping the surgeon find all the cancer cells. The goal is to see if this tool makes it easier to achieve a complete removal of the tumor, which is critical for a cure.
