Glowing dye could help surgeons spot hidden cancer

NCT ID NCT07149207

Summary

This study is testing if a special dye called Indocyanine Green (ICG) can help surgeons see head and neck cancer tissue more clearly during surgery. The goal is to help remove all the cancer and lower the chance it comes back. About 30 adult patients will receive the dye before their standard surgery, and researchers will check if the glowing dye accurately highlights cancer cells.
