Ice packs calm Swimmers' shaky legs after hard workouts
NCT ID NCT07480200
Summary
This study tested whether applying ice packs to specific tight muscle spots could reduce leg shaking that occurs after intense swimming. Thirty-four competitive teenage swimmers participated, trying both ice treatment and no treatment after maximum effort swims. Researchers measured leg tremor to see if the cold therapy helped stabilize muscles post-exercise.
