Chill or warmth? simple comfort tricks tested for unpleasant Post-Surgery procedure

NCT ID NCT07408921

Summary

This study aims to see if applying a simple ice pack or a warm gel pad can make the process of removing a surgical drain more comfortable and less anxiety-inducing for patients recovering from open urology surgery. Researchers will compare these two methods against standard care in 120 patients. They will measure anxiety, comfort, vital signs, and patient satisfaction to find which approach works best.
