First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether specially made ice creams (with natural sweeteners and fiber) can help control blood sugar and be gentle on digestion for people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, with or without type 2 diabetes. About 100 adults will try three different ice creams over three days, and their blood sugar and bowel habits will be monitored. The goal is to see if these ice creams are a better option than regular ice cream for managing health.
