Summary
This study tested a special nursing guideline to help people who have an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD). The goal was to see if it could improve how well patients accept the device and feel confident managing their health. 60 adults who were getting an ICD took part. The approach used evidence-based nursing care before and after the implant procedure.
