First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looked at whether two common pain relievers, ibuprofen and ketoprofen, enter mature breastmilk. Researchers measured drug levels in milk from 35 breastfeeding women who had been taking either medication for more than 24 hours. The goal was to see if these drugs stay low enough to allow safe, long-term breastfeeding.
