Summary

This study tested whether a single pill combining two common medications (Mebeverine and Simethicone) works better than taking each medication alone for reducing abdominal pain and excess gas. It involved 465 adults with functional bowel disorders like Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Participants took the study treatments for four weeks while tracking their pain and bloating levels.
