Summary
This study aimed to better understand and detect heart complications, particularly irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation), in cancer patients taking the medication ibrutinib. It followed a small group of 8 patients starting ibrutinib treatment, using special tests to try to predict who might be at highest risk. The goal was to find ways to spot these heart issues early to prevent serious problems.
