New drug cocktail takes on rare brain cancer

Summary

This early-phase study tests a combination of the targeted drug ibrutinib with a chemotherapy regimen called TEDDI-R in people with primary CNS lymphoma, a rare brain cancer. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the treatment can control the disease. About 68 adults with relapsed or untreated lymphoma are taking part.
