Researchers probe hidden brain symptoms in kids with bowel disease
NCT ID NCT07247994
Summary
This study aims to understand how often children with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) also experience neurological or psychiatric symptoms like headaches, seizures, or ADHD. Researchers will screen 44 children and adolescents (ages 1-18) with IBD at a single hospital to look for these connections. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors spot and manage these symptoms earlier.
