New camera tech vs traditional dye: which spots IBD cancer risk better?

NCT ID NCT07208214

Summary

This study compares two colonoscopy imaging methods to detect early precancerous changes in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers will test whether a newer camera technology called TXI works as well as or better than traditional dye-based imaging at spotting these subtle changes. About 242 IBD patients undergoing routine colonoscopy will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two imaging approaches during their procedure.
