Could a simple diet change make colonoscopies easier for IBD patients?
NCT ID NCT07353853
Summary
This study is testing whether a pre-packaged, low-residue diet is as good as standard methods for cleaning the bowel before a colonoscopy in people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Researchers want to see if this special diet can make the preparation process more comfortable and provide better nutrition for the 1,000 adult participants. The main goal is to ensure the bowel is clean enough for doctors to see clearly during the procedure.
