New combo aims to stall aggressive lung cancer

Summary
This study tests whether adding the drug iadademstat to standard immunotherapy (atezolizumab or durvalumab) can keep extensive-stage small cell lung cancer from growing longer than immunotherapy alone. About 45 adults whose cancer responded to initial chemo-immunotherapy will participate. The goal is to find the best dose and see if the combination improves cancer control.
