Blood-Based injection shows promise for jaw pain relief
NCT ID NCT05883982
Summary
This study tested whether injections made from a patient's own blood (called I-PRF) could help people with jaw joint problems. The treatment was given to 49 adults who had jaw pain or limited jaw movement that didn't improve with standard therapies. Researchers measured changes in pain levels and how far participants could open their mouths after receiving the injections.
