Summary
This study tested whether injecting a patient's own blood product (I-PRF) into the jaw joint could ease pain and improve jaw movement in people with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. 49 adults with TMJ pain or limited jaw opening received the injections. The main goals were to measure changes in pain levels and how wide they could open their mouth.
