New drug targets tough esophageal cancer in early trial

Summary

This study tests a drug called I-DXd in people with advanced esophageal cancer that has not responded to prior treatments. I-DXd is designed to attach to cancer cells and deliver a powerful treatment directly to them. The main goal is to see how many participants have their tumors shrink or disappear. About 60 adults with this type of cancer will take part.
