New hysterectomy method aims to slash pain and speed recovery
NCT ID NCT07306507
Summary
This study is comparing two different ways to perform a minimally invasive hysterectomy (surgery to remove the uterus). Researchers want to see if a newer method (vNOTES) causes less pain after surgery, reduces the need for strong painkillers, and helps patients recover faster and more comfortably than the standard laparoscopic method. About 80 women scheduled for this surgery will be randomly assigned to one of the two techniques.
