Study aims to reduce complications in common childhood surgery

NCT ID NCT07421271

Summary

This study compared two different ways to drain urine after surgery to correct a common birth defect in boys called hypospadias. It involved 86 boys with a mild form of the condition to see which drainage method and how long it was used led to fewer problems, like urine leaks, after surgery. The goal was to find the safest and most effective post-surgery care to help children heal better.
