NCT ID NCT04322435
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looked at how often low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) happens in children aged 6 months to 6 years with congenital adrenal insufficiency, a condition where the body doesn't make enough cortisol. Even with standard treatment, these children may still be at risk. Researchers monitored blood sugar levels continuously to find the true rate of low blood sugar events, which are often unnoticed.
