Mind over medicine: can hypnosis heal the scars of ICU survival?
NCT ID NCT07254299
Summary
This study is testing whether hypnosis sessions can improve the wellbeing of patients who have been critically ill in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Researchers will give some patients up to three hypnosis sessions after they leave the ICU to see if it helps them feel better and reduces long-term mental and physical problems. They will compare these patients to others who receive only standard care.
