Heat and hydrogen peroxide patch takes on stubborn warts

NCT ID NCT07534865

First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether adding a microneedle patch soaked in hydrogen peroxide to local heat therapy can clear viral warts better than heat alone. About 210 people aged 6–65 with common or plantar warts will be split into three groups: heat only, heat plus a plain patch, or heat plus the hydrogen peroxide patch. The main goal is to see how many warts disappear completely within six months.
