Two drugs better than one? major trial tests combo for blood pressure control

NCT ID NCT05385770

Summary

This study tested whether combining two common blood pressure drugs (AZM and AML) works better and is as safe as taking each drug alone. It involved 890 adults with mild-to-moderate high blood pressure that wasn't fully controlled on one of these drugs. The goal was to find the best dose of the combination and see if it helps lower blood pressure more effectively over 8 weeks.
