New drug duo tested to tame stubborn high blood pressure

NCT ID NCT06682000

Summary

This study tested whether adding a second drug (DWC202314) to an existing one (DWC202404) could better control high blood pressure in patients where the first drug alone wasn't enough. It involved 192 adults with essential hypertension whose blood pressure remained too high on single-drug therapy. The main goal was to see if the combination safely lowered blood pressure more effectively.
