New combo pill tested to tame stubborn high blood pressure
NCT ID NCT05385770
Summary
This study tested whether combining two common blood pressure medications (AZM and AML) works better than taking either drug alone. It involved 890 adults whose high blood pressure wasn't well controlled on one of these medications. Participants were randomly assigned to take the combination or one of the single drugs for 8 weeks to compare effectiveness and safety.
