Summary
This study aimed to test whether a new combination pill containing two blood-pressure-lowering drugs (olmesartan and chlorthalidone) works as well as existing treatments for people with uncontrolled high blood pressure. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available. It was designed for adults with stage 1, 2, or 3 hypertension who had never been treated before.
