Can a short class teach patients to dodge a dangerous blood pressure spike?
NCT ID NCT06986746
Summary
This study tested whether a planned education program could improve knowledge about preventing a hypertensive crisis—a dangerous, sudden spike in blood pressure—in people already diagnosed with high blood pressure. Researchers enrolled 35 patients with hypertension and measured their knowledge before and two weeks after the educational session. The goal was to see if the program helped patients better understand how to prevent this serious complication.
