New hope for bile duct cancer: can targeted radiation boost treatment?

Summary

This study is for people with advanced intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, a type of bile duct cancer that has spread. It tests whether adding liver-directed radiation therapy to standard systemic therapy improves safety and outcomes. About 60 adults with at least one liver tumor 3 cm or larger will participate. The goal is to find a better way to control the disease.
