First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tests whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) can reduce pain in women with endometriosis. HBOT involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber, which may reduce inflammation and promote healing. The trial will enroll 64 women with persistent pelvic pain who are waiting for surgery, and compare standard care plus HBOT to standard care alone.
