New cancer drug enters human testing for Tough-to-Treat tumors

NCT ID NCT06712680

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new experimental drug called HYP-6589 in people with advanced solid tumors that have spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The main goals are to find a safe dose, see how the body processes the drug, and check for early signs that it might help shrink tumors. The drug will be tested both by itself and in combination with other cancer medications for a specific type of advanced lung cancer.
