Summary
This early-stage study aimed to see if the drug hydroxychloroquine could reduce the amount of COVID-19 virus and ease symptoms in adults with mild illness. It involved only 8 participants who took the drug or a placebo for 10 days. The trial was terminated early and did not proceed to larger studies.
