New bandage could replace goopy ointments after eye surgery
NCT ID NCT07075159
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests a hydrocolloid dressing (a special bandage) placed right after eye-area surgery to see if it heals as well as the usual antibiotic ointment. The bandage is left on for a week, so patients don't have to apply ointment themselves. About 20 adults who can come for follow-up visits will take part.
