First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a new device called a hybrid neuroprosthesis to help people who have had a stroke regain arm movement. Researchers worked with 24 adults who had arm weakness after a stroke to see if the device was easy to use, safe, and helpful. The goal was to gather information on how well the device works and how patients feel about it, not to cure or treat the condition directly.
