Doctors test Two-in-One heart treatment: surgery plus stents

NCT ID NCT01496664

Summary

This study looked at whether combining two standard heart treatments works better than either one alone. Doctors treated patients with severe blockages in multiple heart arteries using bypass surgery for one main artery and stent placement for others. The goal was to see if this hybrid approach leads to fewer heart attacks, strokes, or need for repeat procedures compared to traditional methods.
