New gel may boost tear duct surgery outcomes

Summary
This study tests whether using hyaluronic acid (a natural gel) during tear duct surgery works better than the standard drug Mitomycin-C. About 36 adults with chronic tear duct blockage will take part. The goal is to see which treatment leads to fewer complications and better healing.
