Gel tested to stop scars that can cause infertility

NCT ID NCT07160764

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see how well a special gel works to prevent scar tissue from forming inside the uterus after surgery. The gel, made from a substance called hyaluronic acid, is placed in the uterus during a procedure to remove polyps, fibroids, or other growths. Researchers will check if patients who received the gel had fewer or less severe scars during a follow-up exam, and will monitor for any safety issues.
