First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding hyaluronic acid (a natural substance that helps healing) to standard gum graft surgery can improve how much of the tooth root gets covered and how the gums look. About 40 adults with receding gums will get either the standard surgery or the surgery plus hyaluronic acid. The main goal is to see if the added treatment leads to better root coverage and less discomfort after six months.
