Scientists search skin for clues to painful disease
NCT ID NCT07278011
Summary
This study aimed to understand the molecular causes of hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful and chronic inflammatory skin disease. Researchers compared small skin samples from 15 people with HS to samples from 15 healthy people. They analyzed the samples to see how specific genes and proteins involved in inflammation were different in HS skin.
