New drug aims to speed liver healing after cancer surgery

Summary

This study tests a drug called HRX215 in adults who had part of their liver removed due to colon cancer that spread there. The goal is to see if the drug is safe and helps the liver grow back faster. About 80 people will take either HRX215 or a placebo. The study is in early phases and focuses on safety and how the body processes the drug.
