Smartwatches could predict colds before symptoms start in menopausal women
NCT ID NCT07292857
Summary
This study aims to understand if hormone replacement therapy (HRT) affects how often and how severely post-menopausal women get respiratory infections like colds and flu. Researchers will follow 400 women aged 40-60 for six months, tracking infections and collecting data from smartwatches and questionnaires. The goal is to identify risk factors and see if wearable device data can predict an infection before symptoms appear.
