New hope for tough pancreatic cancer: targeted drug combo enters final testing phase

Summary

This study tests a new drug (HRS-4642) combined with chemotherapy for people with advanced pancreatic cancer that has a specific gene change called KRAS G12D. About 588 participants will receive either the new drug plus chemo or a placebo plus chemo. The goal is to see if the new combination helps people live longer or keeps the cancer from growing.
