New knee pain drug enters early human testing

Summary
This early-stage study tests an experimental drug called HRS-2129 in 200 people with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis pain. The goal is to see if different doses can reduce pain and improve knee function compared to a placebo or an active control. Participants must stop other pain treatments during the study, except for acetaminophen as a rescue medication.
