Could an HPV shot for babies help stop cervical cancer?

NCT ID NCT07377656

Summary

This study aims to see if an HPV vaccine is safe and produces a good immune response in very young children. It will test the vaccine in healthy infants, toddlers, and children aged 9 months to 5 years in Ghana, comparing their results to those of young women aged 15-20. The goal is to gather early evidence for potentially including HPV vaccination in routine childhood immunization schedules to prevent future cervical cancer.
