First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether one dose of the CERVAVAC HPV vaccine works as well as one dose of the Gardasil vaccine. About 1,266 girls, boys, and young women in Zambia will receive a single shot and have their immune response checked at 6, 12, and 24 months. The goal is to see if CERVAVAC can help prevent cervical cancer with a simpler, one-dose schedule.
