Can you switch HPV vaccines? new study aims to find out
NCT ID NCT07530679
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether women who have already received the bivalent HPV vaccine (which protects against two cancer-causing types) can safely switch to the 9-valent vaccine (which protects against nine types) for better protection. About 360 healthy women aged 18-45 will get either two or three doses of the 9-valent vaccine. Researchers will check immune responses and side effects to see if this sequential vaccination approach works well.
